Former President Barack Obama just spoke out to assert that his White House never suffered a scandal amid his presidency, however, it didn’t take long for him to get close down.
Barack Obama took his self-delusionment to a whole new level when he boasted that his administration had no scandals that humiliated him or his team. Amid a “secret speech” at MIT last Friday, Barack Obama went ahead to clear up that there were no scandals “that embarrassed us.”
“There were mistakes,” he admitted, according to Breitbart. “We’d screw up, but there wasn’t anything venal during eight years. I know that seems like a low bar, but you look at the presidency; that’s no small thing.”
In any case, conservatives weren’t having any of it, as they quickly called out that various scandals happened while Barack Obama was in White House. These scandals included but were not limited to the Fast and Furious scandal, the IRS scandal, the terror assault in Benghazi, wiretapping journalist, delivering pallets of money to Iran, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of a private email server for government emails.
Undeterred by this, former President Barack Obama demanded there was not much drama either, thanks to his leadership and organization skills.
“Typically speaking, you didn’t hear about a whole lot of drama inside our White House, and that was also rare,” he stated.
He appears to have forgotten reports of his press secretary Robert Gibbs’s reviling at Valerie Jarrett and first lady Michelle Obama. Robert Gibbs left the administration in disgrace not long after these reports came in.
Twitter users likewise let Barack Obama realize that they didn’t buy his argument that his White House was a drama – free, scandal-free zone:
